City Hall

Since the conception of Western Civilization Public Space has been designed using the geometry of visual order to symbolize an organizing principle of urban life as well as the dominant power of the political.

For the past ten years I have been exploring different architectural sites as containers, which signify history, memory, cyclical order and cultural organization. In this body of work my interest is to look into the political and civic space represented in the City Hall and how it symbolizes the invisible organization and political centers of urban life.
